Conference championship DraftKings lineups
Below are two lineups I’m going with this weekend in DraftKings GPP tournaments. Here’s why I picked certain players, with advice from some of my favorite DFS experts:
QB/WR Stack: Jalen Hurts - $7,200 / A.J. Brown - $7,000 (vs SF) — “Hurts was playing pitch and catch with his receivers in the first half against the Giants last week, and could have easily gone for 35+ DKFP had the G-Men done close to anything on the offensive end. Philly leaned extremely run heavy in the second half, so Hurts had to settle for 23.56 DKFP performance. That’s not going to fly this week against a loaded San Francisco offense … The Eagles traded for Brown this past offseason for this exact reason, and he’s now got the chance to lead them to the Super Bowl. I would expect him to get fed early and often in this game after getting only six targets last week. We have also seen Philly lean pass heavy at times this year when the matchup has dictated it, and it most certainly does this week.” — Landon Silinsky, DK Nation
RB: Isiah Pacheco - $5,300 (vs CIN) — “With Patrick Mahomes dealing with a high ankle sprain, we could see a ton of Pacheco and Jerick McKinnon on Sunday evening. Last week, Pacheco crushed it on the ground with 96 yards on 12 carries against the Jaguars. The rookie has scored 10 or more DK points in four-straight games, which includes the divisional round game. In the Chiefs' first matchup against Cincinnati in Week 13, Pacheco had 66 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries. He also had two receptions for 16 yards (16.2 DK points). Last week, we saw the Bengals hold the Bills to 63 rushing yards as a team, so it's not an ideal matchup for Pacheco, but we know Andy Reid and Co. will not shy away from running the ball.” — Jovan Alford, The Sporting News
WR: Tee Higgins - $6,000 (at KC) — “Higgins's salaries are eye-opening considering his ceiling, and the fact the speedy downfield threat is facing a Chiefs defense that was highly vulnerable to wide receiver production all season. Higgins posted 12.5 DK/11.0 FD/Yahoo points against Kansas City back in Week 13 with a 3-35-1 line, and the fact his last big performance came in Week 16 has served to take his salaries down to unusually low levels. However, Higgins has 12 double-digit fantasy-point tallies on the campaign overall, three over 20.” — Juan Carlos Blanco RotoBaller
