If you’re like me, you might be trying to scrape as much fantasy fun out of each remaining week through Super Bowl Sunday (via DFS, for the most part). Keep reading for the latest rankings, news, and DFS picks for the divisional round!
Divisional round DraftKings lineups
Below are two lineups I’m going with this Wild Card weekend in DraftKings GPP tournaments this weekend. Here’s why I picked certain players, with advice from some of my favorite DFS experts:
QB: Brock Purdy - $5,400 (vs DAL) — “On the season, Dallas was 5th in rush defense DVOA and 3rd in pass defense while being 2nd in adjusted sack rate. Towards the end of the season, though, Trevor Lawrence toasted them for 318 yards and 4 touchdowns and Gardner Minshew went for 355 yards and 2 touchdowns. The 49ers are one of the most balanced teams in the league with a plethora of playmakers. Despite being in the middle of the pack in terms of blitz rate, the Cowboys flow fast and often overrun plays, which makes them susceptible to misdirection, something Kyle Shanahan will likely exploit. That should make things a little easier for Purdy, allowing cleaner windows and seams for his playmakers to do what they do best, which is make plays.” — Stan Son, DK Nation
RB: Christian McCaffrey - $8,000 (vs DAL) — “While we want to differentiate our lineups on short slates such as this one, we must also be mindful of raw point accumulation. For that reason, Christian McCaffrey is perhaps the strongest point-to-dollar play on the slate, as his salary has been cut to $8k from the usual $9k-ish price point. CMC has been a volume monster in close games and is averaging just over 20 touches per game over the last two months. He comes in off a 17-touch, 146-total-yard outing in the Wild Card round and should once again play a three-down role against a Dallas defensive unit that grades out well statistically but allowed just over six yards per target to RBs in the passing game this season.” — Joe Nicely, RotoBaller
WR: Zay Jones - $4,700 (at KC) – “Christian Kirk also works in this spot, but this is the position where most of the value lives, especially if you want to spend up for CMC, which is recommended. After a couple of bad games in a row, Jones looked great against the Chargers last week, catching eight of his 13 targets for 74 yards, good for 21.4 DK points. The last time the Chiefs played Jacksonville was Week 10, where Jones caught eight passes for 68 yards. Things could get ugly quickly for the Jaguars this week, and I would expect Kansas City to allow a ton of underneath production if they build a big lead. Jones is in a great spot as the Chiefs rank 26th in DK points allowed to opposing wideouts.” — Landon Silinsky, Fantasy Labs
WR: DeVonta Smith - $7,200 (vs NYG) — “Smith is coming into the playoffs on a hot streak, scoring 10 or more DraftKings points in six-straight games. In two games against New York this year, Smith has posted 12 receptions (16 targets) for 131 yards and a touchdown. He also averaged 15.5 DraftKings points per game. Last week, the Giants did a good job of keeping the Vikings' WRs in check, but it will be tough for them to slow down both A.J. Brown and Smith. Smith also can put together a 100-yard receiving game, which he's done five times this season, and will give DK players an extra three-point bonus.” — Jovan Alford, The Sporting News

Jalen Hurts is off the injury report and fully cleared from his shoulder injury ahead of Saturday’s divisional-round game against the Giants.
The Washington Commanders are letting potential offensive coordinators know they intend on having QB Sam Howell start next season. Despite being a fifth-round pick, Howell had plenty of first-round buzz in the 2022 NFL Draft and could be an interesting stash in dynasty leagues.
Chiefs’ RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire was officially designated to return from injured reserve on Tuesday. There is no guarantee Edwards-Helaire will provide any sort of fantasy value at this point in the season, though he makes for a fine late-round playoff best ball pick in leagues that continue to draft.
