Who is trending up and down heading into this weekend’s action, courtesy of our friends at FantasyPros.
George Kittle was a limited participant at practice earlier in the week. Despite not practicing last week, Kittle told reporters he fully expected to be good to play come Sunday, and that remains the case.
Isiah Pacheco and Rashee Rice are both off the injury report for Sunday’s game. Rice will remain in his No. 1 wide receiver role, and Pacheco should remain in his workhorse role for the biggest game of the season.
Jerick McKinnon has been listed as questionable. He was considered unlikely to play earlier in the week, but his designation of questionable gives him a chance. He was activated from IR last week.

Here’s one DraftKings lineup for the Showdown slate that I’m going with for the Super Bowl, based on some of my favorite matchups and advice from top experts.
Captain - Patrick Mahomes, QB ($10,600) — “I'm rolling with Patrick Mahomes as my captain choice. Most importantly because he has the best chance to end up with the most fantasy points by the end of the game, but also because the 1.5X multiplier on Christian McCaffrey's flex value creates major issues for the rest of the lineup. The 49ers' fantasy points allowed against QBs are excellent, but it's built on not allowing touchdowns. I'm trusting Mahomesto reverse that trend.” — Patrick Whelan, Fantasy Football Calculator
Flex - Christian McCaffrey, RB ($12,000) —“McCaffrey has produced at least 106 total yards in four of five playoff games with San Francisco. The NFL’s Offensive Player of the Year has also scored in each of those contests. I’m pretty sure Kyle Shanahan, Bobby Turner (running back coach) and Chris Foerster (run game coordinator) have studied what the Raiders and Zamir White (145 yards on 22 carries) were able to do in a victory against the Chiefs on Christmas Day. In fact, since Week 15, Kansas City has allowed the ninth-highest explosive run rate to go with the fifth-lowest stuff rate.” — Eddie Brown, San Diego Tribune
Flex - Travis Kelce, TE ($10,200) — “Travis Kelce has been an animal thus far in the playoffs as he has totaled 23 receptions for 262 receiving yards and three touchdowns. He has also seen a total of 27 targets, so he figures to be heavily involved yet again. Just two weeks ago, San Francisco allowed Sam LaPorta to torch them for nine receptions and 97 receiving yards, so they can certainly get beat by the tight end position.” — Kipp Heisterman, RotoBaller
Flex - Harrison Butker, K ($5,000) — “For some unknown reason Jake Moody cost 2k more to roster than Butker. That’s just incorrect pricing between the two, as Butker has been clutch and Moody, not so much. Moody has made 80 percent of his field goals and only three from 50+ on the season. Butker has made 95.2% of his field goals along with six over 50 yards, with his longest being a 60 yarder. Both teams will go for 4th and short instead of kicking field goals, but Butker will have a much better chance of being allowed to kick a long field goal or two in a game that should be close and low scoring.” — Chet Gresham, DK Network
Flex - Chiefs D/ST ($3,400) — “Kansas City’s defense has been great this postseason. The unit has posted at least 8.0 fantasy points in two of three playoff games. The Chiefs scored 14 fantasy points in the win over the Ravens in the AFC title game thanks to four sacks and a few turnovers. If we’re looking at a team to turn the ball over, the 49ers feel more likely with Purdy under center than Patrick Mahomes. San Fran’s defense is also a bit overrated. The Niners offense is tough but also hasn’t clicked at times. The Chiefs could build an early lead, lean on Pacheco and some timely throws from Mahomes and play D. You can craft a decent lineup around that game script with the Chiefs D/ST.” — Benjamin Zweiman, DK Network
Flex - Marquez Valdes-Scantling, WR ($3,000) — “MVS played a season-high 83% of the snaps in the AFC Championship Game, leading Kansas City in routes run. Justin Watson played half as many snaps, while Mecole Hardman was on the field for just one after a mistake-filled Divisional Round. Kadarius Toney is off the injury report but he’s highly unlikely to play a big role at this point. … San Francisco’s defense has struggled during the postseason, and opponents averaged the third-most pass attempts against the 49ers this year.” — Dalton Del Don, Yahoo!
