DeVonta Smith told reporters he expects to play in Monday’s Wild Card game against the Buccaneers. He was sidelined in Week 18 but remains on track to return for the playoffs.
A.J. Brown will not be joining Smith on the field Monday, however. He is still dealing with a knee injury he suffered in Week 18. Brown will continue to rehab in the hopes of returning in the divisional round, should the Eagles advance.
Christian Watson has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys but should be good to play after he was limited in practice all week. Green Bay will need him and the entire wide receiver room to step up big time in this one if the Packers are to pull off the upset in Dallas.
Sam LaPorta is questionable for Sunday’s Wild Card game against the Rams. He reportedly was a full participant at practice on Friday, likely leaving him on the more favorable side of questionable to play. It is huge for the Lions’ offense after his status was considered very much in doubt earlier in the week.
Mark Andrews (ankle) has been designated to return from injured reserve. With the Ravens currently on a bye, Andrews could potentially log enough practice time to play in the divisional round next week.
