Some Week 3 news you can us
D’Andre Swift did not practice on Wednesday but was able to log limited sessions on Thursday and Friday. After being listed as questionable last week, he produced 56 rushing yards, 31 receiving yards, and one touchdown. Thus, there is reason to believe that he will both play and be effective in Week 3.
Michael Pittman Jr. will play in Week 3 against the Kansas City Chiefs. His return will give the Colts’ offense a big boost following their winless start. Pittman ranks as a fringe top-12 receiver in fantasy football this week.
George Kittle is on track to make his 2022 debut this week. He ranks as a mid-range TE1 with Jimmy Garoppolo in charge of a strong San Francisco offense.
Keenan Allen (hamstring) did not practice on Friday and is officially listed as questionable. Head coach Brandon Staley said that he views Allen as “50-50” for Sunday’s contest.
Josh Jacobs has not practiced the last two days as he deals with an illness. He is officially listed as questionable. Ameer Abdullah and Zamir White should see additional work in the running game if Jacobs is forced to miss Week 3.
Justin Herbert was reported to not be throwing during open-to-media practice on Friday, and following the news, sportsbooks everywhere dropped the Chargers down nearly four points on the spread. Chase Daniel received first-team reps on Friday.
