📰 Week 3 news you can use
Key injuries to track and other happenings heading into this weekend.
Jordan Love (QB, GB) — After initially expecting to miss 3-6 weeks, there seems to be a chance Love returns this weekend. He practiced in a limited fashion the last three days and is officially questionable. “We'll give it up 'til game time and see where we're at," Coach LaFleur said. My gut says they don’t rush Love back after what looked to be a fairly serious injury but stay tuned. It’s a big upgrade for Green Bay’s pass-catchers once Love does return.
Michael Pittman Jr. (WR, IND) — After missing Friday’s practice, Pittman Jr. is all-of-a-sudden questionable for Week 3’s game with the Bears. While some are speculating that this will be a game-time decision, Pittman said he doesn’t think he’s in danger of missing the game, as did Coach Steichen.
Joe Mixon (RB, HOU) — It appears Cam Akers is back in the fantasy conversation, to the glee of absolutely no one. Mixon (ankle) is doubtful to play, and Dameon Pierce has already been ruled out, leaving Akers as a potential flex option for those rosters riddled with injured backs.
