Week 4 fantasy football rankings and waiver adds
Hello Playbook subscribers!
Here come our initial Week 4 fantasy football rankings for all scoring formats.
Since they are exclusive to Playbook subscribers, they are password protected, so please note that below. As always, these will be updated as the week progresses, so check back as needed.
Since we’re still in waiver wire territory, I’m also sharing a few pickup recommendations courtesy of 5th Down’s Aidan Gurvitch.
Hope all is well where you are, and thanks so much for subscribing!
Week 4 waiver wire adds
Khalil Herbert, CHI- RB (49%)
Aidan said it last week. He said it two weeks ago. He’ll say it again. If Khalil Herbert is sitting on your waivers, you are crazy, and apparently, 51% of leagues are in fact crazy. Here’s exactly what he said last week:
“It’s fairly likely that David Montgomery either gets hurt or has his touches handed over to Herbert at some point this season. Even though Herbert may not have a lot of usage at the moment, he could have some red zone touches as a backup. It’s only a matter of time until the stash pays off.”
Mack Hollins, LVR- WR (2%)
Mack Hollins’ target share has been on an upward trend every week so far. Surprisingly enough, Hollins has actually led the Raiders in receiving yards this season. Hollins seems to be a focal point of the Raiders’ offense thus far in the season, and his volume is worth banking on. Logging 158 yards on Sunday, Hollins showed us all that he needs to be rostered.
Tyler Conklin, NYJ- TE (21%)
Among all tight ends, Tyler Conklin is third in the league in targets, and second in catches. In PPR leagues, that should be all I need to say, but I’ll keep going. Conklin has had steady volume at around 8 targets per game, which has turned into steady yardage as well. With 84 yards in Week 3, Conklin cemented himself as a high-floor TE in fantasy.
