Waiver wire targets
Percentages reflect how many teams have that player rostered in Yahoo! Sports fantasy leagues.
Teams on a bye this week: Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears
Quarterback
After three touchdowns and 30+ rushing yards in his NFL starting debut, Drake Maye (7%) is looking good as a streaming option this week against the Jaguars, who have been destroyed by opposing quarterbacks over the past four weeks (27.4 fantasy points per game). Keep in mind that this game is in London and it’ll be just his second career start, so it’s far from a sure thing. But there are promising signs if you’re in need.
Other QBs to consider: Trevor Lawrence (51%), Justin Herbert (41%)
Running Back
Tyrone Tracy Jr. (45%) continued making the case for leading the Giants backfield in Week 6 with 107 yards and a touchdown. “It seems clear at this point that Tracy deserves a substantial rest-of-season role, regardless of the health status of Devin Singletary,” writes Andy Behrens of Yahoo! Sports. … Bills coach McDermott says James Cook has “a chance to play” in Week 7, but if he doesn’t, Ray Davis (15%) is someone to look at. He looked fantastic against the Jets, with 97 rush yards on 20 carries plus three receptions for 55 yards.
Other RBs to consider: Antonio Gibson (45%), Tyler Allgeier (31%), Isaac Guerendo (5%)
Wide Receiver
JuJu Smith-Schuster (34%) may be emerging as the main fantasy beneficiary of injuries to Rashee Rice and Hollywood Brown, posting 130 yards on seven receptions in Week 5 before the Chiefs bye week. He’s still widely available heading into a matchup with Seattle … The Packers’ Christian Watson (42%) and Romeo Doubs (36%) are both coming off of their best performances of the season, and should see a bump in usages for at least Week 7 with Dontayvion Wicks likely to sit.
Other WRs to consider: Josh Downs (49%), Keon Coleman (41%), Allen Lazard (41%)
Tight End
Averaging nearly seven targets per game over the last four contests on an explosive offense is nothing to sneeze at for this position, so Cade Otton (35%) deserves a look. With a great matchup against the Ravens (4th most points to TEs), even moreso.
Other TEs to consider: Zach Ertz (25%), Hunter Henry (26%)
D/ST
The Bengals (20%) are not a good defense, but they play the Browns this week, making then a decent fantasy defense. Cleveland has yet to top 20 points in any game this season.
Other D/STs to consider: Chargers (53%), Commanders (5%)
